VELESKA MARTIN
Veleska is currently working to build her following and learn new skills. This summer, she is focusing on new maternity lighting techniques and is starting to book more maternity sessions. Veleska is also working to promote her Education business and spread her knowledge.
In the future, Veleska hopes to teach more, engage in one on one mentoring, travel, and build on her skills.
We asked Veleska what advice she would give to someone who is interested in photography or business.
My best advice for a beginner is to really invest in good equipment first and foremost (refurbished is fine to start out) and good education, workshops are great hands-on ways to gain knowledge and get experience, while building your portfolio.
Just as importantly you will need a website and various social media outlets such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok in order to showcase your work and market your sessions to the wider community.
